Pfizer logo now more 'efficacious.'

New look for Pfizer. The gradient is useless, and the P nearly collides with the edge of the oval. Other than that, a nice upgrade, especially with the softer, italicized 'e'.

Speaking of big budgets ...

I thought this was a nice example of simplicity. Simple message. Simple design. Simple medium. Simply awesome.

But is the paper edible?

From Bruketa & Zinic, out of Croatia, an annual report you have to bake in an oven to read.

Maybe not as cool as Read Naked, the sauna-proof font book from Under Ware.

Make the logo uh ... 250% bigger.

Do big truck badges = satisfied buyers? Kicking Tires measured each of the badges adorning the latest big truck models at the Detroit International Auto Show and well, in a design sense, the results weren't pretty.

Which came first, the beer brick or the draught keg?

Here's an idea that was way ahead of its time: The Heineken beer brick.

I'd venture to say that if Heineken were the beer of choice for rednecks rather than Budweiser, this country music nonsense would never have caught on.

"My wife left me. My dog is dead. Guess I'll drink me an igloo or design a retaining wall or something."

What's going on here?

This photo/graphic for mycokerewards.com has been troubling me:

Obviously this coke-drinking man is being somethered by a hat-wearing woman (or man?). Notice the desperation on his face: this is a man who loves to drink coke, but doesn't like being embraced by members of the opposite sex who have had at least one hand amputated by the margin of a web page. Seriously. Where's her hand? And is that other hand really hers? It looks gigantic for such a petite arm.

She's got man hands, Jerry.

Man hands she wants to get on your Coke!

Also, notice how the placement of the 20 ounce bottle of Coca Cola. It completely covers the face of the unknown hugger. Think about this. This says that Coca-Cola is superior to women. Especially hat-wearing women.
